Netscape 6.x Email

Setting up Netscape 6.x  Email:

1. Open Netscape.

2. Click on Tasks and select Mail.

3. Click on Edit and select Mail/News Account Settings within Netscape Mail.

4. Click on the button.

5. The Account Wizard will begin. Select the top option labeled ISP or email provider and click Next to continue.

6. Enter the following information:

• Your Name -- The name that people will see when you send them email

• Email Address -- Your email address

7. Click Next to continue.

8. Enter the following information:

• Server Type -- POP Mail Server

• Server Name (incoming) -- account.your.domain

• Server Name (outgoing) -- smtp.your.domain

9. Click Next to continue.

10. It will ask for a username. Verify that it is your mail username.

11. Click Next to continue.

12. Click Next to accept the default setting for the account name.

13. Click Finish to save the settings.

14. In the white box, click on Outgoing (SMTP) Server and verify that smtp.your.domain is in the Server Name field.

15. Click OK to save the settings.

16. Netscape 6 has now been set up with your Email account!
